Sunday, February 26, 11:00am – 4:30pm

Presented by: JAZZ.FM91 and TD are joining forces to present a Music Business Seminar for musicians, artists and the curious in our community! Taking place in the Long & McQuade Performance Hall on Sunday, February 26, this all-day event is designed to help Canadian artists in all musical genres to gain knowledge and expertise in order to succeed in the current music marketplace. We have assembled a collection of leading experts and award winning musicians who will share their knowledge and experience with you!

Presented in partnership with TD Bank Group, this seminar will include opportunities to learn from a variety of leading industry personalities, develop key skills, participate in engaging discussions, and network with fellow artists. Whether you’re an emerging artist looking to start your career or an established artist looking to upgrade your skill set, you’ll learn what it takes to develop a successful career in the music business.

Topics include:

  • utilizing social media
  • proper career management
  • getting your music online
  • recording a record
  • maximizing your money
  • booking performances
  • touring internationally
  • building an audience
